Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CheckerQuote website and services. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. CheckerQuote operates under the laws of England and Wales.
Our Service
CheckerQuote provides independent commentary and review services for home improvement quotes submitted by customers. Reports are based solely on the information and documents supplied by the customer and are produced in good faith.
Informational Purpose Only
Reports are provided for informational purposes only to help customers make more informed purchasing decisions. CheckerQuote does not provide legal, surveying, structural engineering, financial or architectural advice. Where such advice is required, customers should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
No Endorsement
CheckerQuote does not endorse, recommend or guarantee any contractor, supplier or installer. Any commentary on a quote relates only to the documents submitted and is not an assessment of the contractor's overall conduct, workmanship or reputation.
Customer Responsibility
Customers remain solely responsible for all purchasing, contracting and project decisions. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is accurate, complete and lawfully provided.
Payments & Refunds
Fees are payable at the point of submission. Because reports are bespoke and prepared on demand, refunds are issued at our discretion and typically only where the service has not been delivered.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckerQuote's total liability arising out of or in connection with the service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant review. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Intellectual Property
All content on the CheckerQuote website and within our reports is owned by or licensed to CheckerQuote and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission, except for the customer's own personal, non-commercial use of their report.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Disclaimer
CheckerQuote provides independent information and commentary based on documents supplied by customers. Reports are intended to support decision-making and should not be considered professional legal, structural, surveying or financial advice.
